Causes of tire wear (Mondeo 2)

            0

Causes of different types of tire wear:

- wear on outer edges (front tyres) - sporty cornering style;

- the outer edges are more worn than the middle - the tires have been used at low pressure for a long time;

- slanted pattern - indicates incorrect installation of wheels, this most often occurs when the tires are worn on one side;

- severe wear in the middle of the tire - occurs due to frequent movement at maximum speed; due to centrifugal force, the tires inflate, which leads to more wear in the middle;

- uneven wear - may be caused by wheel imbalance, balancing is required;

- the presence of areas with severe wear - occurs as a result of braking with locked wheels.
