Extending the life of your tires (Mondeo 2)

            0

To extend the life of your tires, follow these recommendations:

- do not drive at a speed greater than the speed permitted for your tires, this primarily applies to M+S tires of category Q (160 km/h), higher speeds increase wear and may lead to tire rupture;

- Avoid maximum speeds if the car is heavily loaded. Regularly check the heating of the tires: if the tire is warm, there is no need to worry about overheating; very hot rubber is an alarm signal: the reason for this may be low pressure in the tire or a damaged frame, in this case, remove the tire and check it at the nearest service station;

- if you operate your vehicle mainly on highways, at high speed, install tires with a speed index higher than that specified in the vehicle's registration document;

- make sure that when parking, the curb does not scratch the sides of the tires, drive off the curb slowly and always at a right angle.
