General description (Mondeo 2)
Modern car tires support the weight of the car, cushion the impact of uneven road surfaces, and transmit the forces that occur when braking or cornering. The average service life of front tires is 15,000–35,000 km, and rear pneumatic tires are 30,000–50,000 km. Even if the car is rarely used, the tires wear out after seven to eight years due to ageing.
