- turn the windshield wiper motor on and off;
- remove the windshield wiper arms as described above;
- remove the five caps and unscrew the front panel mounting bolts;
- open the hood and disconnect the ground wire from the battery;

- according to Fig. 292, carefully press the rubber gasket 1 and unscrew the two bolts 2, disconnect both fasteners of the front panel and remove it;
- in the resulting hole, find three windshield wiper drive bolts, one on the right and one on the left, the other two are located approximately in the middle, to the left, on the back side of the long rod;
- press the rod and disconnect the multi-pin plug connector from the engine;
- mark the position of the crank arm in relation to the mounting plate, unscrew the lever nut, remove the lever, the engine is secured with three bolts to the mounting plate, now it can be disconnected.
Install in the reverse order of removal. When installing, observe the following tightening torques, N·m:
- windshield wiper motor mounting bolts 8–12
- installation of the crank arm in accordance with the marks and fastening of the nut 25
- windshield wiper drive rods 8
- both wiper arm nuts 25
