Removal and installation of the windshield wiper motor (rear) for hatchback vehicles is carried out as follows:
- disconnect the ground wire and remove the windshield wiper arm in the following order:
1) remove the plastic cover and loosen the nut underneath it by two turns;
2) Press the lever away from the glass and move it to the side to release it from the conical seat;
3) completely unscrew the nut and remove the lever;
- unscrew the trim from the inside of the rear door (fastened with ten bolts - six on one side and four on the other side);

- after this you can see the parts shown in Fig. 295, with the order of their removal indicated;
- unscrew the three bolts of the mounting plate and remove the entire unit;
Assemble in reverse order, taking into account the following:
- tighten the mounting plate bolts and the windshield wiper motor bolts to 8 Nm;
- tighten the wiper spindle nut to 20 Nm and reinstall the plastic cover.
Removal and installation of the windscreen wiper motor (rear) for vehicles with a station wagon body is carried out as follows:
- remove the windshield wiper arm as described for the hatchback body;
- carefully press the six safety caps on the top side of the open rear door with a screwdriver and unscrew the six bolts located behind them;
- the facing is fixed in the middle with four clamps, by carefully bending the facing you can release them;
- unscrew the "ground" wire, disconnect the multi-pin plug connector and release the wire from the mount, unscrew the bolts securing the windshield wiper arm from the rear door, remove the mounting plate after unscrewing three bolts.
Install in the reverse order of removal. Tighten all bolts to 8 Nm. When installing the trim, align the four clamps with the holes and press the trim. Then insert only the six bolts and tighten them. Reinstall the protective caps.
