Warning: It is strictly forbidden to suck out gasoline by mouth using a hose.
Remove the front trailing arm in the following order:
- disconnect the battery in accordance with the relevant regulations and empty the fuel tank;
- fold back the rear seat cushions, remove the rubber covering and disconnect the plug connector;
- lift the car from behind and place it on supports, install a jack with a wooden board under the fuel tank and lift it so that it supports the tank;
- unscrew the bolts of the stabilizer mounting clamps on both sides and remove the rod from below;
- disconnect the hose from the fuel line;
- disconnect the drain hose from the fuel filter;
- unscrew the bolts on both tank mounting belts and lower the tank a little on the jack, disconnect the fuel lines on the upper side of the tank, then lower the tank completely;
- unscrew the nut on the back of the trailing arm and remove the stabilizer rod, holding the rubber bushings;
- unscrew the longitudinal lever from the hub and disconnect it from the mount on the frame crossmember - now the lever can be removed.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Rubber joints are installed if the vehicle is placed back on the wheels. Required tightening torques are given in the appendix. After installation, measurements should be taken at the rear of the vehicle.
