The automatic transmission fluid level indicator (dipstick) is located near the engine compartment shield under the brake system reservoir. The lower part of the fluid level indicator tube is attached to the transmission by a flange, and the upper part of the tube is attached to the cylinder block by a bracket.

The level of the working fluid in the automatic transmission must be checked on a warm engine, preferably after a trip. In this case, the temperature of the working fluid will reach the value required for checking (55°C).
