Checking the fluid level in an automatic transmission

            0

Automatic transmission fluid level indicator (measuring probe) located near the shield of the engine compartment under the reservoir of the brake system. The lower part of the tube of the working fluid level indicator is flanged to the gearbox, and the upper part of the tube is attached to the cylinder block by a bracket.

The fluid level in an automatic transmission must be checked with the engine warm, preferably after a trip. In this case, the temperature of the working fluid will reach the value required for testing (55°C).

1. Take out the pointer (measuring probe) fluid level in an automatic transmission.

2. The level must be within the limits indicated by the arrows.

3. If the level is lower, contact a car service to restore the level of the working fluid in the automatic transmission.
