Cause
Elimination
A. Water and dirt are evenly distributed throughout the cleaning sector.
  1. The glass is contaminated with varnish care products, oil-containing residues or residues of increments.
  2. The windshield wiper rubber is worn out.
  3. The wiper arm is turned at the hinge point and is not parallel to the glass.
  1. Apply Sidol or another cleaning agent to the glass, let it dry and wipe with a clean cloth.
  2. Replace.
  3. Bend the end of the wiper arm (twist slightly).
B. Thin streaks of water remain in the cleaning sector.
See A2. Replace.
Q. Several water stripes remain in the cleaning sector.
The angle of the wiper blade is too sharp in relation to the glass. Replace the rubber band.
G. Fine drops of water remain in the cleaning sector.

Uneven contact force - bent or defective pressure spring in the wiper blade.
Replace the wiper blade.
D. A water film remains in the cleaning sector.
  1. The wiper arm contact force is low.
  2. The windshield wiper drive is worn out.
  3. The windshield wiper arm is free in its axis.
  4. The windshield wiper arm is bent.
  5. The wiper blade is bent.
  1. Check the clamping force. Lightly lubricate the spring, tighten the wiper arm more, or replace it.
  2. Check and replace defective parts.
  3. Secure it.
  4. Bend it.
  5. Replace.
E. Water zones remain in the upper cleaning sector.

F. The brush crackles.
  1. Large gap in the windshield wiper linkage system.
  2. The windshield wiper arm is free.
  3. The windshield wiper arm rotates.
  1. Replace worn parts.
  2. Secure it.
  3. Remove the wiper blade and align the arm.
