Standard chargers can be used for charging. The battery can also be charged using a fast battery charger. The charging current should be between 3 and 25 A, and the voltage should be between 14 and 15 V.
Charge the battery only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.
If the electrolyte level is too low, for example as a result of a long stay in a hot area, top up with distilled water, see chapter "Maintenance".
If the vehicle will not be used for more than six weeks, remove the battery and store it in a charged state. The most favorable temperature for storing the battery is 0-27°C. Recharge the battery no later than three months, otherwise it will be unusable.
Clean the battery terminals regularly and lubricate them with Vaseline or BOSCH terminal grease.
Use starting aids only in exceptional cases.
Caution! Do not turn on the starting aid without simultaneously turning on the starter.
