When it comes to the procedures necessary to ensure the reliability and good performance of your machine, adhere to the service intervals specified in your Service Booklet. We recommend that you always use Ford services.
Your tasks:
- Check and top up the fuel level regularly. Check your tire pressure and adjust your brakes and lights. Check the indicator lights. This driver's guide will help you with this.
- Transparent containers for windshield washer fluid, brake fluid, and engine coolant allow you to quickly visually check their levels
- For quick identification, all filler caps and the engine oil level indicator handle are painted yellow.
Warning: Turn off the engine before working in the engine compartment to avoid accidentally turning on the electric cooling fan. Also be careful that items of clothing such as ties and scarves do not get caught in the fan or drive belts.

Check every day:
- Correct operation of all internal and external lamps. Replace any burned out or dim bulbs and make sure all lenses are clean.
- Engine oil level.
- Brake fluid level.
- Windshield washer fluid level.
- Tire pressure (cold) and their condition.
Check once a month:
- Engine coolant level.
- Engine, electrical lines, hoses and tanks (is there a leak?).
- Power steering fluid level.
- Operation of the handbrake.
- Signal operation.
