To check the oil level in the gearbox, unscrew the plug (Fig. 160) and try to get the oil with a bent finger. If there is not enough oil, add it with a syringe. Screw the plug back in and tighten it to 27 N·m.
To change the transmission oil, unscrew the oil drain plug and let the oil drain into a container. Screw the plug back in and fill the gearbox with oil. The oil level should be 10–15 mm from the lower edge of the oil filler hole.
