Removal and installation of the ignition module

Note: Automatic transmission models only.

Withdrawal

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable (Chapter 1).

2. If required, remove the resonator for better access (chapter 4A).

3. Disconnect the electrical connector of the module (see fig. 4.3).



4. Remove the fixing screws and detach the module from the support bracket mounted on the bulkhead.

Installation

5. Installation - in the reverse order of removal.
