Removing and installing the ignition module (Mondeo 1 and 2)

Note: Automatic transmission models only.

Removal

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable (chapter 1).

2. If necessary, remove the resonator to improve access (Chapter 4A).

3. Disconnect the module electrical connector (see Fig. 4.3).



4. Remove the mounting screws and detach the module from the support bracket installed on the partition.

Installation

5. Installation - in the reverse order of removal.
