Removal



1. Remove the ground wire from the battery.

2. Raise the front of the vehicle and secure it on stands.

3. Drain the oil from the engine.

4. Remove the cover from the clutch housing.

5. Remove the starter.

6. Unscrew the oil pan mounting bolts: 18 bolts for petrol engines or 16 bolts for diesel engines.

7. Remove the oil pan.

Installation



1. Clean the mating surfaces of the engine and oil pan.

2. In petrol engines, insert new seals into the grooves of the oil pump housing and from the flywheel side and then glue new cork gaskets onto the cylinder block, install the oil pan, tighten the mounting bolts by hand and finally tighten them to a torque of 10 Nm.

3. In diesel engines, apply sealing compound to the cylinder block (the places where the sealing compound is applied are indicated by arrows), install the oil pan, tighten the mounting bolts by hand, starting from the corners, and tighten them evenly to a torque of 10 Nm.



4. Further installation steps are carried out in the reverse order of removal.
