Exhaust systems

1 - cars with CVH engines with a displacement of 1.3 and 1.6 dm3, manufactured before 9/83;
2 - cars with OHV engines with a displacement of 1.1 dm3, manufactured before 9/83;
3 - cars with an engine with a working volume of 1.6 dm3 with a catalyst; 4 - cars with CVH engines with a displacement of 1.4 and 1.6 dm3, manufactured since 86;
5 – three-stage catalyst;
6 - unregulated catalyst;
7 - diesel engines

Exhaust manifolds

1 - exhaust manifold of the engine with a working volume of 1.1 dm3; 2 - exhaust manifold of the engine with a working volume of 1.3 and 1.6 dm3; 3 - exhaust manifold gasket

The exhaust system consists of a single exhaust pipe (for an engine with a displacement of 1.1 dm3), or double downpipe (for other engines). Front and rear mufflers are attached to the exhaust pipe. If there is a catalyst, it is installed between the front and rear silencers. The lambda probe, which controls the composition of the fuel mixture, is screwed into the front exhaust pipe. Both mufflers can be replaced separately, but for this it is necessary to cut the connecting pipe. The front and rear mufflers are suspended from the body on rubber holders.
