Replacing the oil filter (Escort 4)

1. Unscrew the filter by hand or using a special strap wrench.

2. Lubricate the sealing ring of the new filter with engine oil.

3. Screw the filter until it touches the engine block, then tighten it by hand another 3/4 turn.
