2. Unscrew the oil drain plug at the rear of the oil pan (in the picture on the left is the oil drain plug for an OHV engine, on the right is the oil drain plug for a diesel engine) and drain the oil into a suitable container.
3. Tighten the oil drain plug to a torque of 30 Nm.
4. Replace the oil filter and add fresh oil.
Caution! If the oil drained from the engine contains significant amounts of metal particles, the connecting rod or main bearings of the crankshaft may have failed and their condition must be checked.
