Before adjusting the wheel alignment angles, check the air pressure in the tires, free play in the wheel hub bearings and set the wheels parallel to the longitudinal axis of the car. For adjustment, use a stand from Churchill, Bem-Muller, Facom, Sam-Lauravia, etc.

NOTE: Camber and caster angles are not adjustable, except for the Escort RS 1600 i.

Checking the convergence


Loosen the steering rod locknuts and outer clamps of the protective covers. Rotate the right and left steering rods to set the toe-in or toe-out specified above.
