| Replacing the coolant | once every two years |
| The ratio of Ford concentrate and water for the preparation of a coolant that operates at temperatures down to minus 30°C | 50/ 50 |
| Opening pressure of the valve in the plug on the thermostat housing (with an engine displacement of 1.1 dm³) or on the expansion tank (with an engine displacement of 1.3, 1.4 and 1.6 dm³) | 0.85 – 1.10 bar |
| Thermostat | |
| Type | with wax filler |
| Opening start temperature | 85 – 89°C |
| Full opening temperature | 99 – 102°C |

| Cooling system capacity | |
| OHV engine with a working volume of 1.1 dm³ | 5.3 dm³ |
| CVH engine with a working volume of 1.1 dm³ | 6.2 dm³ with small radiator or 7.2 dm³ with large radiator |
| Engines with a working volume of 1.3 dm³ | 7.1 dm³ |
| CVH engine with a working volume of 1.4 dm³ | 7.6 dm³ |
| CVH engine with a working volume of 1.6 dm³ | 7.9 dm³ |
| Diesel engines with a working volume of 1.6 dm³ and 1.8 dm³ | 9.3 dm³ |
For CVH engines, use only Ford pink concentrate, specification SSM-97B-9103-A. This concentrate is specifically designed for aluminum engine cylinder heads. When using other coolant, Ford specifications must be followed.
