Removal
1. Loosen the wheel mounting bolts, raise the front of the vehicle and remove the wheel.
2. Unscrew the wheel hub mounting nut.
3. Unscrew the brake caliper mounting bolts and hang it on the suspension strut.
4. Remove the hub.
5. Remove the cotter pin and unscrew the nut securing the steering tie rod end joint and, using a puller, remove it from the steering knuckle.
6. Unscrew the nut and remove the clamp bolt securing the ball joint of the suspension arm to the steering knuckle.
7. Unscrew the tie bolt securing the strut to the steering knuckle, insert the 14-026 device into the groove of the steering knuckle and turn it 90°, spreading the shock absorber strut mount. If there is no device, the strut mount can be spread using the appropriate lever.
8. Press the steering knuckle down (until the strut is completely released).
9. Place a support under the drive shaft or tie the shaft to the steering rack housing.
10. Press the drive shaft out of the hub.
11. Remove the dust ring from the groove in the steering knuckle.
12. Remove the inner and outer sealing rings.
13. Remove the bearings.
Installation
1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
2. After installing the outer bearing rings, fill the inside of the bearings with grease, especially between the rollers.
3. After tightening, secure the wheel hub nut from unscrewing by pressing the flange of the nut into the groove of the drive shaft.
