Rear suspension
Independent rear suspension on two transverse levers, with guide shock absorber struts and short coil springs. Toe-in is adjusted using washers of a certain thickness at the factory during vehicle assembly. When repairing the rear suspension, toe-in is not adjusted, and the washers installed during vehicle production must be installed in their original places.
The Ford Express has a rigid axle with increased strength, sprung by leaf springs with shock absorbers.
