Withdrawal
Raise the rear of the car and secure it on stands.
On vehicles with ABS, unscrew the pressure regulator link on the rear suspension beam.
Unscrew the bottom nut of fastening of an amortization rack. Unload the rear wheel. To do this, raise the rear wheel with a jack or mount and remove the rack mounting bolt (see fig. 10.29).
In the trunk, use the lever to remove the protective cap of the upper part of the suspension strut (see fig. 10.30).
Unscrew 2 nuts of the top fastening of an amortization rack.
Attention. Do not unscrew the upper suspension strut bolt.
Remove the rear suspension strut from under the vehicle.
Installation
Installation is done in sequence. withdrawal, taking into account the following points:
- insert the suspension strut and screw it to the body from above with two nuts to the required torque;
- insert the rack from below into the grip of the trailing arm and screw it in with the bolt without completely tightening it. Lower the car and tighten a bolt the demanded moment.
