Removal
Remove the steering knuckle from the vehicle.
Using a press, remove the hub from the inner bearing races. Remove the inner race of the outer bearing remaining on the hub using a puller.
Remove the retaining ring securing the outer bearing race to the steering knuckle and, using a drift, carefully remove the outer bearing race. Clean the bearing mounting areas in the steering knuckle and hub.
Installation
Using a tubular drift, install the outer bearing race into the steering knuckle. Secure the outer bearing race into the steering knuckle with a new snap ring.
Using a tubular drift, support the inner bearing race and press the hub into the bearing. Rotate the hub in the bearings to check that the bearing is seated correctly and install the steering knuckle onto the vehicle.
