Withdrawal
Remove the steering knuckle from the vehicle.
Using a press, remove the hub from the inner races of the bearing. Remove the inner ring of the outer bearing remaining on the hub using a puller.
Remove the circlip securing the bearing outer race to the steering knuckle and, using a punch, carefully remove the bearing outer race. Clean the bearing locations in the steering knuckle and hub.
Installation
Using a tubular mandrel, install the bearing outer race into the steering knuckle. Secure the bearing outer race to the steering knuckle with a new circlip.
Using a drift, support the inner race of the bearing and press the hub into the bearing. Rotating the hub in the bearings, check the correct installation of the bearing and install the steering knuckle on the car.
