Rear coil springs on combi models

Withdrawal

Raise the rear of the car and secure it on stands. Place a jack under the suspension arm directly below the spring and raise it just enough to support the weight of the suspension. Remove the lower mounting bolts of both rear shock absorbers.

Slowly lowering the jack, lower the levers until until the springs are completely released. Be careful not to stretch or tear the brake hoses. Remove the springs from under the car.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following points:

• when installing the springs in place, correctly align their ends with the recesses in the support cups;
• after installing the springs, raise the suspension arms with jacks and connect the lower part of the shock absorbers;
• tighten bolts of fastening the demanded moment.
