Removing a five-speed gearbox is similar to removing a four-speed gearbox (see subsection 8.1.2.2.1) except for the following minor differences.
To maintain the adjustment of the gearshift mechanism position, engage reverse gear before removing the gearbox.
There is no release spring on the gear shift rod.
Additionally, disconnect the left front anti-roll bar mount from the crossmember.
