Maintenance of a four-speed manual transmission (Escort 4)
Check the gearbox oil level every 10,000 km of vehicle mileage. Periodic oil change is not provided, but if necessary, the oil can be drained by unscrewing the gear selection rod lock. The oil level is checked through the oil filler hole.
