Lubrication of ignition distributor breaker contacts (10,000 km/12 months) (Escort 4)

1. Remove the distributor cap and distributor rotor.

2. Apply a small amount of liquid lubricant to the top of the breaker contacts.

3. Wipe the distributor shaft and apply a small amount of high temperature grease to the four cam lobes.

4. Install the rotor and distributor cap.
