Description


The carburetor with a Venturi tube, two-chamber has a main fuel system, an idle system, an accelerator pump with a mechanical drive and an economizer valve controlled by a vacuum. The air damper control is manual, on some models automatic control is used.

The economizer valve is only used at wide open throttle to supply additional fuel. The accelerator pump enriches the fuel mixture with a sharp opening of the throttle, providing good acceleration of the car. Accelerator pump - diaphragm type with a mechanical drive. The manually operated choke is additionally controlled by the vacuum created in the carburetor under certain engine operating conditions.

The optional throttle control mechanism acts as an idle speed compensator that works under certain operating conditions to prevent the engine from stalling. The fuel shutoff solenoid valve is used to shut off fuel to the engine when the ignition is turned off.
