Check valve (Escort 5)

Removal

Remove the negative terminal from the battery.

Raise the rear of the vehicle and secure it on stands. Remove the rear wheel from the filler neck side.

Unscrew the valve cover fastening screw and slide the cover over the valve. Disconnect the pipes from the valve and remove it (see Fig. 4A.21).

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
