Withdrawal


Remove the negative terminal from the battery. Working inside the car, remove the accelerator cable from the pedal, to do this, tilt the pedal off the floor and, loosening the cable, remove the rubber ring, and then the cable itself from the groove in the pedal Remove the accelerator cable through the partition into the engine compartment (see fig. 4A.5).



Remove the air filter


Remove the accelerator cable from the carburetor.

Remove the fastening bracket using the lever. Separate the cable sheath from the suspension and remove the accelerator cable.

Installation and adjustment




Pass the accelerator cable from the engine compartment to the vehicle interior through the bulkhead and connect the inner end of the accelerator cable to the pedal.


Install the sealing ring in the baffle and insert the cable sheath into the baffle.

Connect the accelerator cable to the carburetor. Attach the accelerator cable sheath to the head cover.



Have an assistant press the accelerator pedal all the way down and hold it in this position. Move the accelerator cable sheath in the sealing ring to set the carburetor choke to the fully open position. Attach the accelerator cable hanger and release the accelerator pedal.

Press all the way down, then release the accelerator pedal and check that the damper opens and closes completely. Install the air filter and connect the negative battery terminal.
