Air filter

Withdrawal

Remove the negative terminal from the battery. On CVH engines, remove the accelerator cable sheath from the clip on the air filter housing. Remove 3 bolts and lift up the air filter housing. Mark the location and disconnect the electrical wires and hoses from the back of the air filter housing. On CVH engines, also disconnect the vacuum hose from the intake manifold (see fig. 4A.2-4A.4).







Remove the air filter housing from the carburetor. If necessary, unscrew the intake air temperature sensor.

Installation

Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
