As a result, stepless change of gear ratio occurs.



The gearbox control unit ensures the optimum gear ratio for any driving mode with maximum efficiency. To significantly increase the speed of movement when overtaking or when driving uphill, there is a forced downshift mode, which is activated by fully pressing and holding the accelerator pedal. In this case, the gearbox either remains in a lower gear longer or is forced to switch to a lower gear. The range of gear ratios corresponds to the gear ratio of a mechanical 5-speed gearbox.

Precautions

If the vehicle is parked with the engine running, apply the handbrake and move the selector lever to position "P". If the selector lever is in position "B", "R", "D" or "L", do not increase the engine speed above idle speed. If the front wheels are raised off the ground and the selector lever is in position "R", "D" or "L", the engine speed should not exceed 3000 rpm. When towing the vehicle, the ignition should be on and the selector lever should be in position "P". The towing distance should not exceed 50 km, and the speed should not exceed 50 km/h. as damage may occur due to insufficient lubrication. If it is necessary to tow a longer distance, raise the front of the vehicle.
