Removal
Unscrew the selector lever handle and remove the decorative cover from the center console. Unscrew the screws securing the center console (2 at the rear and 4 at the front). Remove the center console by sliding it along the handbrake lever. Using a screwdriver as a lever, remove the selector lever guide plate. Remove the rod from the lever by pressing the plastic tab with a screwdriver.
Disconnect the rod from the lever and gearbox. Unscrew the 4 screws and remove the gear selector lever housing.
To remove the lever, remove the bracket and remove the lever pivot pin.
To remove the lever from the guide, first remove the spring and unscrew the mounting bolt.
Installation
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Tighten the hinge pin mounting nut so that the lever can move freely.
Adjusting the eccentric control cable
Adjustment should be made after installing the gearbox or replacing the cable. The cable is attached to an eccentric mounted on the throttle shaft and communicates the throttle position to the gearbox.
Remove the air filter.
Press the locking bar of the automatic installation device until the cable is completely released, accompanied by a click and an increase in the protrusion of the sheath (A). The automatic installation device is located on top of the cable guide sleeve.
Turn the eccentric to turn the throttle valve to the stop, i.e. to the maximum throttle mode and release it back. At the same time, the automatic transmission cable adjustment device is activated and the protrusion of the cable sheath is set.
Adjust the fuel supply cable by removing the latch, pressing the accelerator pedal all the way down, fully extending the cable sheath and setting the latch in this position. Install the air filter.
