Top cover
Unscrew the two bolts securing the top cover and remove the cover. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
Middle lid
Remove the nut securing the power steering tube support bracket to the strut at the rear of the center timing belt cover. Lift the brake booster reservoir up out of the rig's suspension and move it to the side.
Loosen the water pump pulley bolts. Remove the upper timing belt cover.
Remove the auxiliary drive belt. Unscrew the bolt and remove the water pump pulley.
Unscrew the bolts securing the middle cover (one bolt at the front and two at the back - top and bottom) and remove the cover.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Bottom cover
Remove the crankshaft pulley. Unscrew the three bolts securing the lower cover and remove it (see Fig. 2C.10).
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal
Inner shield
Remove the timing belt, tensioner and camshaft pulleys.
The shield is bolted to the cylinder head with two bolts on top and two posts on the bottom; unscrew them and remove the shield (see Fig. 2C.11).
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
