Removal

Remove the auxiliary drive belt. Rotate the crankshaft until the timing marks are aligned.

Loosen the crankshaft pulley mounting bolt. To prevent the crankshaft from turning, remove the starter and secure the toothed ring through the starter hole. Completely unscrew the crankshaft pulley mounting bolt and remove the pulley from the front end of the crankshaft (see Fig. 2C.7, 2C.8).

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
