The camshaft seal ring is now accessible for removal. Using a suitable screwdriver or hook-end tool, remove the seal ring from its seat (see Fig. 2B.19).
Check that the O-ring seat is clean. Lubricate the sealing lips and mating surfaces with engine oil and, using a tubular mandrel, install the O-ring in place (see Fig. 2B.20).
Install the camshaft pulley.
