Removal. Windscreen wiper motor
Turn on the wiper motor. Then turn it off. When the blades are in the home position. Remove the ground cable from the battery.
Unscrew the nut and remove the rods from the windshield wiper drive (see Fig. 12.60).
Remove the 3 windshield wiper motor mounting bolts and remove it from the bracket. Disconnect the electrical connector from the windshield wiper motor and remove the motor from the vehicle.
Windscreen wiper rods
Remove the wiper blades and arms from the pivot points.
Remove the ground wire from the battery. Move the windshield wiper rods to a position that allows access to the ball joints of the windshield wiper rod. Using a lever, remove the windshield wiper rods from the axis with spherical heads (see Fig. 12.61, 12.62).
Remove the rubber bushings from the wiper rods.
Installation
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Before installation, lubricate the rubber bushings and rod pivot points with consistent grease.
