Withdrawal. washer pump

Remove the pump from the tank, having previously pumped out the remaining liquid from the tank, then separate the hoses and the electrical connector from the pump.

Tank and pump

Unscrew the washer reservoir and pump mounting bolt in the engine compartment. Remove the wheel arch liner on the left front side of the vehicle. Disconnect the electrical connector from the pump, as well as the connector from the fluid level sensor and the pump hoses. Drain the liquid remaining in the tank into a container. Unscrew the 2 bolts under the wheel arch and remove the tank and pump from the car.

Washer nozzles

The windshield washer nozzles are fixed to the body panels with brackets that are an integral part of the nozzle tip. Remove and remove the insulation from the underside of the hood or the appropriate trim piece to access the tailgate washer nozzle (see fig. 12.69).

Using pliers, squeeze the handpiece retaining brackets together, turn the handpiece a quarter of a turn and remove it from its socket and disconnect the hose (see fig. 12.70).

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. If necessary, adjust the direction of the fluid jet by inserting a needle into the center of the nozzle and directing the jet to the top of the windshield.
