Removal. Washer pump
Remove the pump from the tank, after pumping out any remaining fluid from the tank, then disconnect the hoses and electrical connector from the pump.
Tank and pump
Unscrew the bolt securing the washer reservoir and pump in the engine compartment. Remove the wheel arch liner on the left front side of the vehicle. Disconnect the electrical connector from the pump, as well as the connector from the fluid level sensor and the pump hoses. Drain the remaining fluid in the reservoir into a container. Unscrew the 2 bolts under the wheel arch and remove the reservoir and pump from the vehicle.
Windscreen washer nozzles
The windshield washer nozzles are secured to the body panels by clips which are an integral part of the nozzle tip. Remove and discard the insulation from the underside of the bonnet or the appropriate trim piece to gain access to the rear door windshield washer nozzle (see Fig. 12.69).

Using pliers, squeeze the tip retaining clips together, rotate the tip a quarter turn and remove it from the socket and disconnect the hose (see Fig. 12.70).

Installation
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. If necessary, adjust the direction of the fluid jet by inserting a needle into the center of the nozzle and directing the jet to the upper part of the windshield.
