Removal
Turn on the windshield wiper motor and turn it off after the blades are in their original position. Remove the ground wire from the battery. Remove the wiper arms.
Remove the grille in front of the windshield. The grille is attached with 6 plastic screws and two steel screws located under the plastic caps (see Fig. 12.63).
Unscrew the 4 windshield wiper mounting bolts and remove the windshield wiper. Disconnect the electrical connector from the windshield wiper (see Fig. 12.64).
Using a lever, remove the wiper link from the wiper arm shaft.
Remove the head from the windshield wiper arm shaft, then the retaining ring, two special washers and remove the windshield wiper arm shaft (see Fig. 12.65).
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
