Withdrawal
Remove the negative terminal from the battery.
Remove the vacuum brake booster.
Remove the air filter housing. Remove the bracket for attaching the linkage to the brake pedal.
Unscrew the screws on the bulkhead of the engine compartment and remove the linkage assembly from the bulkhead down the engine compartment (see fig. 9.47).
Clean the brake link assembly and check the bushing for wear.
Installation
Installation is made in sequence, return to removal. Remove air from the brake system.
