Examination
Raise the rear of the vehicle and secure it on stands. Remove the corresponding rear wheel.
Remove the brake pads. Unscrew the 2 bolts and remove the caliper. Using soft wire, tie the caliper to the suspension.
Temporarily screw on the wheel nuts diagonally. The flat side of the nut should face the brake disc. Clean the brake disc. Using a micrometer, measure the thickness of the disc in several places. Using a dial indicator, check the disc for runout. This is checked at a distance of 10 mm from the outer edge of the disc.
Removal
Unscrew the 2 nuts that were temporarily installed when checking the brake disc. Check that the handbrake is completely released. Unscrew the screw securing the brake disc to the hub and remove the disc.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
