Removing and installing the starter (Escort 4)

1. Disconnect the ground wire from the battery.

2. Raise the front of the vehicle and secure it on stands.

3. Unscrew the wires from the traction relay and mark them.



4. Unscrew the three mounting bolts and remove the starter.

5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
