Mark the position, remove, and clean the rotors and the inside of the pump body. Check the pump parts for wear and damage.

Check the drive for wear or damage.



If the gaps are increased or there is damage, the pump must be replaced as a separate unit.

Install the rotors into the pump (in their original position), lubricate the rotors and new O-ring with clean engine oil, and install the cover. Tighten the cover mounting bolts to the specified torque.
