Repair operations permitted with the engine still in place (Taurus 1 and 2)

            0

The intake and exhaust manifold, oil pan, and cylinder head gaskets are accessible with the engine in place. External engine components - intake and exhaust manifolds, oil pan (and pump), water pump, starter, alternator, distributor, and fuel injection system - can be removed for repair without removing the engine.

Since the cylinder head can be removed without touching the engine, the valves can also be serviced in the same position. If you do not have the necessary equipment to remove the engine, you can also repair and replace piston rings, pistons, connecting rods and connecting rod bearings without removing the engine.
