Idle speed adjustment

Measure the idle speed and if it does not lie within 840-870 rpm. adjust to 850 rpm with a bolt (2. fig. 2E.9).

Position a 0.5mm thick plate between the boost lever on the fuel pump and the bolt (3. Figure 2E.9) adjustment of the minimum portion The speed must not change. If it changes, then the position of the minimum portion adjustment bolt should be changed.

If the number of revolutions does not change, then replace the 0.5 mm thick plate with a 1.0 mm thick plate. The number of revolutions should increase. If the increase does not occur, the position of the minimum portion adjustment bolt should be changed.

Adjustment of the minimum portion

Unscrew the high idle servo cable clamp and clamp it at the end of the cable so that the servo cannot function.

Position a 0.5 mm thick plate between the boost lever on the fuel pump and the bolt (3. fig. 2E.9) adjusting the minimum portion. unscrew the bolt (3) one turn and adjust with the screw (2. fig. 2E.9) idle speed at 850 rpm. Repeat the last steps until turning the minimum charge adjustment bolt no longer affects the idle speed.

Replace the 0.5 mm thick plate with a 1.0 mm thick plate and thus set the minimum portion adjustment bolt so that the speed is 860 - 870 rpm.

Remove the 1mm thick plate and record the engine idle speed.

Reinstall the 0.5 mm thick plate. The idle speed should not change.

Adjust the position of the fast idle cable clamp so that there is a gap of 1 mm between the clamp and the lever (with warm engine).

High idle adjustment

Move the high speed lever all the way to the bolt (1. fig. 2E.9). The number of revolutions should increase to a value of 1180-1200 rpm. If this condition is not met, adjust the speed by changing the position of the bolt accordingly (1).
