Removal
When removing the pressure regulator, the vehicle must be standing on its wheels.
Disconnect the brake pipes from the pressure regulator and drain the fluid into a suitable container (see Fig. 9.61).
Disconnect the pressure regulator rod from the rear suspension.
Check the condition of the regulator suspension axle bushing and replace if necessary.
Unscrew the 2 mounting bolts and remove the regulator together with the rod.
Installation
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Remove air from the brake system. If the previously removed pressure regulator is installed, check that it is open when bleeding the brake system. If a new regulator is installed, set its rod to a position where it is fully open. After installing the new regulator, adjust it.
