Withdrawal
When removing the pressure regulator, the vehicle must be on its wheels.
Disconnect the brake lines from the pressure regulator and drain the fluid into a suitable container (see fig. 9.61).
Disconnect the pressure regulator link from the rear suspension.
Check the condition of the regulator suspension axle bushing and replace if necessary.
Unscrew the 2 mounting bolts and remove the regulator together with the rod.
Installation
Installation is made in sequence, return to removal. Remove air from the brake system. If a previously removed pressure regulator is installed in place, check that it is open when bleeding the brake system. If a new regulator is installed, set its rod to a position where it is fully open. After installing the new regulator, adjust it.
