Removal and installation
1. Remove the distributor cover and rotor.
2. Remove the vacuum tube from the vacuum advance regulator.
3. Remove the retaining ring securing the vacuum regulator rod to the swivel base (Bosch only).
4. Unscrew the 2 screws securing the vacuum regulator, move the regulator down, remove the vacuum regulator rod from the rotary base and remove the regulator.
5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
