Vacuum Ignition Advance Controller

Removal and installation

1. Remove cover and distributor rotor.

2. Remove the vacuum tube from the vacuum ignition timing controller.

3. Remove the retaining ring securing the vacuum regulator rod to the swivel base (Bosch only).

4. Unscrew the 2 screws securing the vacuum regulator, move the regulator down, remove the vacuum regulator rod from the rotary base and remove the regulator.

5. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
