Removal
In the engine compartment, disconnect the clutch cable from the clutch release lever. Grasp the clutch cable with pliers and pull it forward to disengage the cable from the release lever. Disconnect the cable housing from the support bracket (see Fig. 6.2, 6.3).
In the vehicle interior, disconnect the toothed sector tension spring from the pedal.
Remove the clutch cable from the pedal toothed sector and remove it into the engine compartment (see Fig. 6.4).
Remove the clutch cable through the hole in the engine compartment bulkhead.
Installation
Pass the clutch cable through the engine compartment bulkhead and secure it to the toothed sector. Reconnect the toothed sector tension spring.
Connect the clutch cable to the gearbox by passing it through the bracket and securing it to the clutch release lever.
