Removal
Remove the clutch release bearing.
Unscrew the bolt securing the clutch release lever to the shaft. Mark the relative position of the lever and the shaft. Remove the lever from the shaft (see Fig. 6.14).
Remove the protective cap from the top of the shaft. Remove the sleeve from the clutch housing using two screwdrivers and slide it up the shaft. If necessary, remove the clutch release shaft by lifting it up until it exits the lower sleeve of the shaft, then turn and pull it down from the clutch housing (see Fig. 6.15).
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
