Removal
Remove the negative terminal from the battery.
Disconnect the clutch cable from the clutch release lever and remove the cable housing from the support bracket.
To access the clutch pedal, remove the fuse and relay box and move it to the side.
Remove the clutch cable from the pedal.
Remove the brake light switch from the brake pedal by turning it clockwise.
Remove the brake pedal mounting bracket. Remove the bracket from the end of the pedal arm, remove the axle and remove the brake pedal, bushings, spacers and clutch pedal.
If necessary, disassemble the clutch pedal and check the condition of its parts (see Fig. 6.6, 6.7).
Installation
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Before installing the pedal, lubricate the pedal and bushings with a thin layer of grease. On models with automatic clutch adjustment, install the clutch toothed sector tension spring only after installing the pedal. Install the latch on the toothed sector so that the tension of the clutch cable is minimal.
