Disconnect the cable from the clutch release forks by pulling the pedal up (Fig. 3.2).

Remove the floor panel from the left side of the vehicle (where the driver's feet are located).

Disconnect the cable from the clutch pedal. Raise the pedal to facilitate the release of the cable hook from the toothed segment. Rotate the segment forward and disconnect the cable.

Pull the cable into the engine compartment.

Installing the Clutch Control Cable


Support the pedal with a wooden support so that the latch (bar) and the segment are separated.

Insert the new cable into the gap between the pedal and the automatic clutch clearance adjuster. Turn the toothed segment in the opposite direction (backwards) and hook the cable (Fig. 3.3).

Attach the cable to the pedal.



Remove the support from under the pedal and press the pedal lightly to check the operation of the adjustment and the fastening of the cable.

Replace the floor pad. The clutch pedal clearance does not require adjustment as it is set automatically by the automatic adjustment device.
