Clutch cable replacement

            0

Disconnect the cable from the clutch release forks by pulling the pedal up (pic. 3.2).

Take out the floor pad on the left side of the car (from where the driver's feet are).

Disconnect the cable from the clutch pedal. Raise the pedal to ease the release of the cable hook from the toothed segment. Rotate the segment forward and disconnect the cable.

Pull the cable into the engine compartment of the engine.

Clutch cable installation

Support the pedal with a wooden support so that the heck is disconnected (plank) and segment.

Insert a new cable into the gap between the pedal and the automatic clutch adjuster. Toothed segment rotate in the opposite direction (back) and hook the rope (pic. 3.3).

Attach the cable to the pedal.

Remove the brace from under the pedal and depress the pedal lightly to check the operation of the adjustment and to secure the cable.

Install the floor pad. The clutch pedal clearance does not require adjustment, as it is set automatically by the automatic adjustment device.
